Choices.

Every choice that I’ve made in the past has led me here. I made the choice to move to Texas to get a different experience. And I did just that. There were days where I felt like I wasted my time in Texas where I had what I really wanted and needed right underneath my nose. If I had known what I wanted to do sooner, maybe I would have branched to find that ATU had it. Maybe I would have been set and already graduated if I had did that. But apart of me thinks, that is just silly to think that way. You want to know why? Because I would not have met the incredible people in Texas. I would not have met my friendship soul mate, I would not have learned half of the things that I learned in Texas. Believe it or not, it was a blessing how my road was paved. I am thankful and I would not change a thing.

Band concert.

Thursdays are my busiest days. I have classes from 9:30 to 2:20 and then I have TV from 2:30-4:15. It was my last TV for the semester and it went smoothly than ever.  It was so bittersweet because not only was it my last TV for the semester but it was my last TV with Tiffany. I am so thankful that God presented me with such a great friend for this past year. After TV, I drove back home to get ready for my niece’s band concert at 6:30. It was such a lovely time to hear her play so well. I am thankful that I can attend things like that in my nieces and nephews lives. It is those little moments that I do not want to miss.

Remi

So here is another blog about my dog, Remi. If they ever trend a crazy dog lady, instead of crazy cat lady, I would be top of the list. This is probably a filler blog for me since nothing too much has been going on other than finals are around the corner and this is my last full week of classes.

Anytime I leave the house, Remi gives me the full on guilty face. I hate leaving him in the mornings or any time, for that matter. He has been such a blessing to our family. However, when storms come in, he can be annoying. Ha!

NEVER THE LESS, there is a solution to this problem, I recently found.  My sister took him to the vet because Remi needed to get his shots and possibly wanted to talk about getting him on anxiety medication. Well, the vet offered another solution where we didn’t have to force pills down his throat. There is this thing called an “Anxiety Wrap“. Also, today I head about it on the radio where several people called in and said that is has been a blessing when storms come in. I think today, I might check if the local pet stores have it (since a storm might possibly come through). It might be costly, but it will be worth every penny.

Done!

My group is incredible! We turned in our last packages for our class and it is just down hill for us now. Tiffany and Nick have been such a pleasure to work with. I can’t believe they are leaving me and graduating! I have been so blessed to work with talented, hard working people. I believe we are the second group out of the class to turn all our packages in.  Which makes me feel so much better. Just to recap of all the packages we did, here they are

  1. Traffic Stoplights
  2. Campus Recreation
  3. Miss Arkansas Tech
  4. Women’s Self Defense
  5. Living On Campus
  6. State Park

Weekend.

My weekend has turned out to be great. I caught up on a lot of work and even cleaned my car with the help of my beautiful niece, Jessica.  If you ever need another set of hands to clean a dirty car, then you need a person like Jess. She is the best helper!

Sunday, I met up with a friend in Fort Smith and we sat and talked for 6 whole hours! Yes, 6! Believe me, I was quite surprised to find out that the place was closing and then I looked at the time. It was such a great and enjoyable visit of just talking and doodling.

Texas, here I come.

After figuring out my schedule for BOTH summer terms and the fall, I have an open space for a vacation. In order for me to graduate in December, I have to take so many courses and it leaves me with hardly a summer to enjoy. But you know what, I don’t care. But I knew that I must see my baby nieces while I can . So after looking at my planner, I found two weeks where I can go to Texas. So without hesitation, I booked a roundtrip flight to see my family in Houston. I am so stinking excited that I will get to spend some time with them. All I can say is, IS IT SUMMER YET?

Pottery.

Being a full time student, my weeks are chaotic. I have little time for myself, let alone my family. The weekends are the only time I can really visit with them.  So I wanted to spend time with my beautiful nieces and my nephew. We decided to go paint some pottery. I use to spend all my money at the theaters but I am very fond on spending my money at Potter Worx. We left early so we could spend as much time we needed on our creativity. When we were heading that way, we saw the Google Maps car. SCORE! That’s twice this year that we have seen it. So if you are ever looking at google maps, try to see if you can find us on I-40 waving at the camera.

Finally we are arrived to Pottery Worx and picked out what we wanted. After that, we grabbed a bite to eat at the yummy restaurant, Stoby’s. Then we headed to Lake Dardanelle State Park and quite enjoyed nature’s finest. Here are some pictures of our Saturday adventure.

Until Next Time,
