Social Media.

Red River Social Media is such a blessing in disguise. Without social media, who knows if I would be as social as I am now. I have met some pretty incredible people around the world and social media has allowed me to keep in contact with them. When I moved to Houston, I was in the melting pot of the state. I came to know and friended a lot of people that were in a different part of the world. So social media has made it possible to keep in touch with my good friends in South Africa. Thanks to Skype, I can see and hear their voices. I joke that Tarryn, the girl on the right, is my friend soulmate. It’s sad that I only got to see her for a year. However, I am very, very grateful that I live in this day in age to have social media to change that.

Until Next Time,

Vanessa Flores
